Cherry blossoms are starting to bloom all around Nishinomiya, and spring is just about here!!
Doesn’t it make you feel restless and ready to get moving?
So we put together a list of Nishitsu-style recommended hikes (^O^)/
The goal is to keep things nice and easy! When Sensei writes that an article doubles as training, the goal may be relaxed, but the hike itself might be tough once you actually go… maybe (゚o゚;;
Recommendation No. 1

A trial hiking event organized by the Nishinomiya Alpine Club
The course is Kōtōen~Kabutoyama~Kitayama Reservoir~Niteko Pond~Shukugawa (^O^)/
A hike through familiar parts of Nishinomiya! And since an experienced leader will guide you, you can feel at ease (^ ^)
The event date is Saturday, April 3
For details such as the meeting place, see here←The meeting place has changed from Kōyōen to Kōtōen
Recommendation No. 2

The Nishitsu team went here together ↓
JR Fukuchiyama Line Abandoned Railway Hike (^O^)/
It’s easy to walk even with children, the tunnels give it a real sense of adventure, and of course there are areas where cherry blossoms bloom in spring (*^_^*)
You can also use GPS to do things like cross city borders ↓
Recommendation No. 3

A Scenic Hike to Kannon-yama, Even Farther Beyond Kabutoyama’s “Jurinji”
“Kannon-yama is perfect for hiking because you can climb it pretty straightforwardly from Jurinji.”
Recommendation No. 4

A Hike Up Gorogoro-dake on the Border Between Nishinomiya and Ashiya
“If you head toward Ashiya from Kannon-yama in Recommendation No. 3, you’ll reach Gorogoro-dake.”
Recommendation? No. 5

A hike deep into the mountains in search of a mysterious castle called “Gabeno-jō”
“Gabeno-jō doesn’t get many visitors, and the trailhead is a little hard to find, so it’s recommended for people with an adventurous spirit.”
At this point it’s less of a hike and more of an adventure…. (゚o゚;;
Finally
For beginners, we recommend either a hike organized by the Nishinomiya Alpine Club or the JR Fukuchiyama Line Abandoned Railway Hike (^O^)/
Each article includes directions, landmarks, and other helpful details, so be sure to use them as a reference.
Spring is here! Why not head outside and take a big, deep breath of fresh air? ☆*:.。. o(≧▽≦)o .。.:*☆
