It looks like the “Takagi Autumn Festival” will be held at Takagi Park for the first time in three years.

It looks like there will be quite a variety of festival stalls! Kids are going to love this!!
Unfortunately, it seems there won’t be a mikoshi parade, but the mikoshi will be on display at Takagi Hachiman Shrine. Apparently, you can even put on a happi coat and take photos! (More details on that later in the article!)

- Activities: Festival stalls, flea market, and a performance by Takagi Kurukuru
*Takagi Kurukuru appears to be a baton twirling performance by a local children’s team - Note: Festival stalls will go ahead in the event of rain, while the flea market will be canceled if it rains
Mikoshi Display at Takagi Hachiman Shrine
This year, you can wear a festival happi coat and take photos together with the mikoshi! Plus, children will apparently receive a small gift (snacks)!!
This is what the mikoshi parade looked like in the past. It seems this area has held mikoshi parades for a long time. After the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, the event was also held with wishes for recovery. Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, the parade has been canceled and changed to a display instead.

Mikoshi Carriers Are Being Recruited for Next Year
This year is display-only, but a mikoshi parade is planned for next year!

They’re actively looking for people to carry the mikoshi for next year’s event.
Festivals are fun even if you just go and join in, but getting involved like this should make it feel even more thrilling and exciting!
Their faces have been blurred, but everyone has such bright, refreshing smiles 😊 Women are carrying it too.
