Opening Day Scene
There were congratulatory opening flowers out front, and people passing by were stopping to take a look.
It says “Premium Uji Matcha Shop”♪
This soft-serve display is in a matcha color. Pretty rare, right!? It’s the kind of thing you’d want to take a commemorative photo with.
They had the menu out on a standing sign. It looks like they sell Japanese sweets, soft serve, and drinks.

There are seats with red cloth that give off a “chaya” teahouse feel. So you can eat in, too.

Apparently, the products at “京寿庵ともえ” use a premium matcha brand called “坂田又兵衛”.
When you think Japanese sweets, dango dumplings come to mind, right?🍡
The lineup has four varieties: matcha dango, white dango, kinako bean paste, and matcha bean paste.
This is “Kuzu Warabi.” I wonder what the texture is like. I’m curious~~😍
They also have luxurious “dorayaki” filled with matcha kinako bean paste.
Matcha bean paste sandwiched between monaka wafers. It’s called “もなっふる”.
They also have “financiers” with black beans mixed into matcha dough😋

We Tried the Parfait

It’s basically an “everything-on-it parfait” topped with dorayaki, matcha soft serve, dango, and kuzu warabi😆
Matcha lovers won’t be able to resist this~~😆
Apparently, even the spoon-shaped monaka part is edible. I thought it was a wooden spoon〜
They also seem to offer complimentary hojicha tea😉
