Kwansei Gakuin Kaikan, 2nd-floor Reception Hall, and other areas

The address is 1-155 Uegahara Ichibancho, Nishinomiya City.

The main venue seems to be on the 2nd floor of “Kwansei Gakuin Kaikan,” the building that houses places like “Restaurant Poplar.”

There is no parking around the venue, so please come by public transportation.

What will they have?

The “Wajima Morning Market” from the Noto Peninsula is coming to Nishinomiya as a traveling event!

• Main products for sale:
  • Seafood and dried fish: redfish, squid, mackerel, horse mackerel, herring, Spanish mackerel, atka mackerel, and more
    *The lineup will vary depending on the day.
  • Processed foods such as shiokara
  • Folk crafts and handicrafts
  • Wajima lacquerware (chopsticks, lacquerware, etc.)
• You can grill and eat the dried fish you buy at the food booth yourself!
  Barbecue grills are available to borrow.

*Barbecue grills are limited in number, so time limits may be imposed depending on how crowded it gets.

Final Thoughts

During the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake 30 years ago, Nishinomiya also received a lot of support from all over Japan😊 This event is a chance to support the disaster-stricken area while shopping for specialty products from the Noto Peninsula that are usually hard to find! The experience of grilling and eating dried fish sounds really fun too😆 If you love fish, why not stop by?
