“I want to find a hobby I can start even as an adult.”
“If I’m starting in October, I’d like to get some exercise… but nothing too intense.”
If that sounds like you, the Nishinomiya City Tennis Association’s Regular Tennis Classes might be just the thing.
Lessons designed so even first-timers can feel at ease
Classes are held twice a month, on Saturday afternoons or Sunday mornings. The venue is the Nishinomiya City Central Sports Park Tennis Courts. Complete beginners will learn everything from how to hold a racket, contact point, and footwork, while those with a little experience can work on rallies and game play. Lessons are carefully taught by level.
“They teach the basics thoroughly, so I feel comfortable.”
“When I get something right, the coach smiles and praises me. It feels rewarding and makes it easy to keep going.”
Three reasons tennis is just right for adults
- It’s a full-body workout, but gentle on the joints… The rhythm of running, stopping, and hitting helps you get moving without overdoing it.
- You can make friends… Doubles and rallies naturally lead to conversation, which helps keep you motivated.
- You can set goals… Many people make their doubles debut at the Chairman’s Advisor Cup held every January!
