Eligibility
Students living in Nishinomiya City who are in grades 4–6 of elementary school or years 1–2 of junior high school
*Although the name includes “Boys Choir,” both boys and girls are welcome.
Number of Openings
- Elementary school students: about 30
- Junior high school students: a small number
Audition Details
- A written test at around the level of grades 4–5 of elementary school📝

About the Nishinomiya Boys and Girls Choir
The Nishinomiya Boys and Girls Choir was founded in 1961 as the first boys’ and girls’ choir in the Hanshin area. This year marks its 65th anniversary!
They practice once a week and perform at events such as the Nishinomiya Citizens’ Festival and chorus competitions, as well as holding regular concerts. They also apparently take part in the National Boys and Girls Choir Festival.
