To support restaurants working to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus,
Nishinomiya City has created stickers that let visitors know the restaurant has infection prevention measures in place ＼(^o^)／

The “Amabie,” a yokai believed to ward off epidemics, featured on the sticker was drawn by
illustrator Yoshikazu Takai, the person who came up with that “Miyatan” character(^^)
The stickers will be distributed free of charge to owners of restaurants and similar businesses, and when posting them,
they will be asked to pledge that they have implemented measures based on Hyogo Prefecture’s new lifestyle guidelines, “Hyogo Style”.
Students from the School of Business Administration at Mukogawa Women’s University and members of the Nishinomiya Chamber of Commerce and Industry will apparently hand out the stickers while also
conducting surveys about the impact of the coronavirus situation and what kinds of support measures people would like from the government (*^^)v
Here’s hoping Nishinomiya gets its lively atmosphere back soon!
