Tempura Soba and Oyakodon at Sobatatsu near Gusto on Route 171 [Nishitsu Gourmet]

We visited “そば辰,” a soba restaurant along Route 171 with an entrance so tasteful it almost feels like a high-end restaurant.

You can smell the wonderful dashi broth even from outside the shop. (^o^)／

What We Ate at “そば辰”

Tempura Soba　\1,520

A magnificent shrimp tempura sits right on top with serious presence! 😁

It was big, plump, and really satisfying to bite into.

The dashi has a great depth of flavor, and the soba goes down so smoothly.

Oyakodon　\1,100

As you’d expect from a soba restaurant, this oyakodon is also full of delicious dashi flavor. 😀

The fluffy egg and crisp onion are a great combination.

The seasoning is on the sweeter side, and the chicken is tender too. You can’t go wrong with this. (^_^)
