Check out our roundup article for the 3,000 yen izakaya series (Hanshin Nishinomiya edition) here↓
So, this time we went to Hanshin Nishinomiya again.
Until the “Hannishi Baru & Marché” on September 21, I’m planning to visit as many shops around Hanshin Nishinomiya as I can.
This time’s spot is “西宮 ツバメヤ酒舗.”
It’s a standing bar, so it’s perfect for the 3,000 yen challenge.
Let’s go~~
目次
Challenge Start!
Last time I mixed six kinds of alcohol and got pretty drunk, so this time I’m going to stick to beer.

This is “Sapporo Black Label <Draft>” (380 yen).

For my first dish, I went with this.
It’s “Lightly seasoned Miyazaki pork motsu” (350 yen).
This really makes the beer go down easily……

I ended up having two beers with the motsu.
Now, I think I’ll order one more dish.

They had something called “Various Ajillo of the Day” (from 580 yen), so I asked about it, and that day it was “Gizzard Ajillo” (600 yen).
This also goes perfectly with beer.

Third glass~~

Fourth glass~~~~
And with the ajillo, I had two more beers.
I think it’s about time to order my final dish.

For the finale, I chose this “Hormone Yakisoba with Aburakasu” (590 yen).
It even comes topped with a fried egg, which makes it feel pretty hearty.
The aburakasu was full of flavor and mixed nicely with the egg, making for a really delicious yakisoba.
Now, it’s time for the nerve-racking bill.
Actually, when I ordered the final yakisoba, I was already thinking, “This might be a little bad……”
So what happened?
Here are the results~~~
3,060 yen!!!
Oh nooooo~~~~!!!
I went over for the first time in agesーーーーーー!!!!
I think my downfall this time was that when I ordered the final dish, I was rushed because it was last order, and I casually chose the yakisoba without properly calculating the total…
I may also have let my guard down because all the prices on the menu included tax.
Trying to land right on the edge really is hard……
So this time I ordered: Sapporo Black Label <Draft> ×4, Lightly seasoned Miyazaki pork motsu, Gizzard Ajillo, and Hormone Yakisoba with Aburakasu.
That’s what I had~~~
Tachinomi “西宮 ツバメヤ酒舗” Menu

Here’s the menu.
As you’d expect from a standing bar, there are lots of small dishes that look like they’d go well with beer, but there are also a few surprisingly stylish items.
Besides these, there’s also a blackboard inside the shop with the day’s recommended dishes written on it.
Inside Tachinomi “西宮 ツバメヤ酒舗”

This is what the inside looks like.
Since it’s a standing bar, there aren’t any seats.
There’s a big TV in the fairly small space, so it has the feel of drinking beer while watching TV (on this day, they happened to be showing a Soccer World Cup qualifier).
Exterior of Tachinomi “西宮 ツバメヤ酒舗”

This is what the outside of the shop looks like.
Let’s take a closer look.

The large lantern is the landmark.
