There’s a Spanish dining bar called “BODEGA d’evis(ボデガデビス)” in the shopping arcade near Hanshin Nishinomiya.
It isn’t an izakaya, but since it’s also taking part in “Hannishi Bar,” we made a special visit for our Izakaya 3,000 yen project this time.
After all, apparently you can enjoy all-you-can-drink wine for 980 yen from the afternoon…

Challenge Start!
We ordered the afternoon bar all-you-can-drink plan (980 yen).
The all-you-can-drink wine comes with an appetizer set of “tapas and prosciutto.”

For the first glass, we went with this “Lambrusco.”
It’s a fairly sweet, lightly sparkling wine, perfect as an aperitif.

This is the appetizer, the “tapas and prosciutto set.”
“Tapas” refers to Spanish-style appetizers.
It goes really well with wine.

Second glass while enjoying the tapas.
This one is “Hardys.”
It was medium-bodied and easy to drink.

Here’s the third glass.
“Viña Peña.”
Apparently it’s a Spanish wine, and this one was also easy to drink, so it went down very quickly.
If I kept gulping down nothing but wine, I felt like I’d end up completely drunk, so I decided to order some food too.

They had an unusual dish called “Ajillo Shabu-Shabu,” so I ordered it.
This is the “Top-Grade Bellota Iberico Pork” (1,180 yen).

It also comes with a baguette.

There are vegetables like eggplant and potatoes inside.
So you dip the Iberico pork from earlier into this, shabu-shabu style…

Like this.
Shabu-shabu-ing it in ajillo really brings out the sweetness of the Iberico pork, and since you can control how much it cooks, you can enjoy it just the way you like.
This definitely makes the wine go down even faster.

For the fourth glass, I tried a white wine.
It’s a South African wine called “MAN.”
I was getting pretty tipsy by this point and could barely tell the taste anymore, but I think it was easy to drink.

The fifth glass was this “Terre Passeri.”
Apparently it’s an Italian wine, but after five glasses of wine, the alcohol really does start catching up with you.

For the sixth glass, I had “Hardys” again.
By this point, I barely remember anything…
Now, it seems our time is up, so I’ll ask for the bill.
But wait a second…
Now that I think about it, didn’t I only order the all-you-can-drink plan and the ajillo shabu-shabu…?
How much could it possibly be?
Here’s the total!!
2,332 yen!!
That was itーーー
As expected, that was quite a bit under budget.
I should have ordered one more dish at the end…
I guess I was too drunk to make a normal decision.
What we ordered this time was the tapas and prosciutto set, ajillo shabu-shabu (Top-Grade Bellota Iberico Pork), Lambrusco, Hardys x2, Viña Peña, MAN, and Terre Passeri.
That’s everything!!
It ended up being the cheapest so far, but also the drunkest I’ve been…
Dining Bar “BODEGA d’evis(ボデガデビス)” Menu

This time, we ordered the “afternoon bar” all-you-can-drink plan.
Here are the wines available with the all-you-can-drink plan↓

They have lots of other menu items too, and apparently all dishes can be ordered during bar time as well.

This is the menu.
There’s an all-you-can-drink option at night too, but that one has a seating charge, so bar time is slightly better value.
Inside Dining Bar “BODEGA d’evis(ボデガデビス)”
Since it’s a dining bar, it feels like a place you can use both as a restaurant and as a bar.
They have counter seats and table seating.

Here’s what the counter seats look like.
