As of August 4, KAZU, a Nishitsu supporter, went to the “Tsuto Fureai Summer Festival” currently being held at Tsuto Elementary School. Bon dancing is also going on until 8:00 p.m., so here’s a quick report.

Here’s what it looks like in front of Tsuto Elementary School. So many people are here. It’s the first time in three years, and apparently lots of families have come out.

There’s a banner for the Tsuto Fureai Summer Festival. The handmade feel is nice.

Let’s go inside.

Smart Ball seems popular. They’ve even put up a sign marking the end of the line. There’s also quite a line for shaved ice.

What are people lining up for over here?

Popcorn, cotton candy, and so on. 100 yen is really cheap.

Ramune is also 100 yen. They’re properly selling drinks for adults too, including lemon sour for just 150 yen. Beer is 250 yen as well.

Yakitori is available as either a single skewer or a set of three.

They’re grilling so much. I want to bite right into it!
・Yakitori, 1 skewer 120 yen
・Cotton candy 100 yen
・Popcorn 100 yen
・Beer 250~350 yen
・Juice/tea 100~150 yen
・Shaved ice 200 yen
・Smart Ball 100 yen
・Target toss (2 tries) 100 yen
・Prize draw 50 yen
・Candy scooping 100 yen
・Super Ball scooping 50 yen
・Frankfurter 150 yen

Here’s the overall atmosphere.

The bon dance starts at 6:30 p.m., and apparently the yagura tower is in the center, though it’s very low. It really is low.

The taiko drum has been set up. And wow, even more people have arrived!
Here’s what it looks like at night:

So, the festival is on until 8:00 p.m. If you’re nearby, stop by. It will also be held again tomorrow, 8/5.
※KAZU, Nishitsu supporter, thank you for the information!
