With that said,

we’ll also share a report from yesterday, Saturday, August 17, including what the atmosphere was like~

That over there is Danjō Elementary School.

The sign is seriously lit up lol

And here we are at the main gate~

You don’t usually see an elementary school at night, and the lanterns give it an otherworldly feel.

Oh! Is it getting lively?!

It was 19:00. The temperature had cooled down too~

It’s crowded around the stalls. Let’s take a look at what they had~

What kind of stall do you think this is~? You can pick up to three, but take home one.

It’s yo-yo fishing~~~. The price is 50 yen. So cheap~

Whoa! Look at all that ice!!! These drinks are ice-cold.

Here’s the drink lineup~. Green tea, Aquarius, Calpis Water, Fanta Grape, Coca-Cola, Salty Lychee, and more

The price is 100 yen. Maybe this is the Co-op along Nakatsuhama Line.

Whoa. Ebisen, Tabekko Doubutsu, Guppy Ramune, Umaibo, and more. What could this be?

It’s candy fishing~~! I wonder if they caught the snack they were aiming for~. 100 yen per try.

They even had tasty, fresh vegetables. The handwritten sign has a nice feel~

The boys were calling out energetically, like, “How about some vegetables~?” They were also selling items from Sazae, the shop along Route 171~

Yakitori was 80 yen per skewer. Another great deal~

Mölkky, which you hear about a lot lately. Apparently they had some nice prizes!

The Mölkky booth was also run by a boy, and he was doing a great job keeping it fun and lively~~~. Kids these days are amazing~

There wasn’t Bon odori dancing today, but they’ll have it tomorrow~

They also had cute cookies like these.

Even the shop name is cute: “こぶたのキッチン” (Kobuta no Kitchen). Pumpkin cheesecake was 300 yen. Baked sweet potato sweets were 300 yen. Cookies and rusks were 200 yen! Nice that you can try all kinds of things~

“星を観る会” (Star Viewing Group) feels a bit unusual~

Things like this are fun~. The Danjō area does feel like a place where the stars are easy to see.

Takosen was 50 yen each. This was cheap too, which is great~~

We found a spot with quite a line. At the front was~

the struck-out target game~. It’s the one where you throw balls at numbered targets and try to hit them. 50 yen per try.

Frankfurters were 150 yen~. They sold out fairly early.

There was a huge line for yakisoba too, but since they had some ready-made, you might have been able to buy it pretty smoothly.

It looked like you needed a numbered ticket to buy cotton candy.
