This year, there were some noteworthy developments, including the application ratio for the newly established Nishinomiya Kurakuen High School and a rebound in the ratio for Hyogo Prefectural Nishinomiya High School! Let’s take a closer look!

The newly established Nishinomiya Kurakuen High School has a ratio of 1.04!

Oh wow, what’s the newly opened Nishinomiya Kurakuen High School like this year?

The application ratio was 1.04, so it didn’t turn into an especially competitive race. Since the school was originally created through the merger of Nishinomiya Kita High School and Kabutoyama High School, it seems many applicants saw it less as a brand-new school and more as one that “carries on the legacy of Nishinomiya Kita High School.” The figure ended up close to Nishinomiya Kita High School’s past ratios (Reiwa 6: 1.09, Reiwa 5: 0.77).

True, looking at the ratio, it doesn’t feel like it’s “super popular!” But it’s exciting to see how a new school will develop!

Hyogo Prefectural Nishinomiya High School’s application ratio rises to 1.74!

Hyogo Prefectural Nishinomiya High School’s ratio for its general course credit-based program rose sharply to 1.74. In Reiwa 4, it recorded a very high ratio of 2.04, but the ratio temporarily declined afterward. However, since last year’s ratio fell below 1.1, it appears that applicants who saw it as a “good opportunity” have come back.

I see! When the ratio drops a bit, people think, “Maybe this is my chance?” and then its popularity comes back again.

Nishinomiya Municipal High School and Nishinomiya Higashi Municipal High School remain highly competitive as usual!

The ratios for Nishinomiya Municipal High School and Nishinomiya Higashi Municipal High School remain steadily high this year as well. Nishinomiya Municipal High School in particular is still as popular as ever!
