Setsubun Festival limited-edition goshuin first-fruits offering: 500円
Bean-throwing volunteer participation fee: 5,000円
Fukumochi, amazake, and bean throwing will end once supplies run out
Bean-throwing volunteers are limited in number(capacity has been reached for women born in the zodiac year)

Bean-throwing volunteer applications are currently open only to men born in the zodiac year
In the morning there will be amazake and fukumochi, the Ohitaki fire ritual starts just after 10:00, and in the afternoon there’s bean throwing, making Hirota Shrine’s Setsubun Festival something you can enjoy throughout the day 🫘👹 There will also be food trucks, so it looks like you can grab some snacks while visiting the shrine.
