Have you made plans yet for your child’s spring break?
There will be 8 different camp events, with a different experience every day!
Here it is↓

You can join only the programs that interest you. The concept is: “We won’t say ‘no’ unless someone’s life is in danger or someone might get hurt.” Even when kids fail or get injured, the attitude is “Let’s still give it a try!” They really respect children’s desire to try things👍
The programs are for children from the final year of kindergarten through 6th grade (check the website for details).
The location is the familiar Club Nishinomiya Campground in Funasaka.
Here it is on the map↓
The address is 1826-1 Funasaka, Yamaguchi-cho, Nishinomiya, Hyogo.
Program List
🔥①3/26(木) “Become a Fire-Starting Expert”
Kids can try starting a fire all by themselves! The moment smoke appears sounds pretty exciting.
🔪②3/27(金) “Make a Nail Knife”
They can heat a nail over charcoal and make their very own knife. It almost feels like an experience tracing the evolution of humankind.

🏹③3/29(日) “Make a Bamboo Bow and Arrow”
The super-popular bamboo bow and arrow workshop! As you can see in the photo, the finished product is pretty serious, so kids may feel like the hero of a game.
🏞️④3/30(月)・⑤3/31(火) “Explore a Spring River & Play in the Forest”
River activities are exciting, whether it’s finding living creatures or just touching the cold water. There’s also forest play, so this is perfect if you want your child to experience nature.
🍰⑥4/1(水) “Outdoor Sweets Party☆”
Kids will gather ingredients at the campground and make delicious sweets. Starting from ingredient gathering gives it that real camping feel.

🍜⑦4/2(木) “Outdoor Hearty Cooking☆”
They’ll make “udon” from flour. Apparently they’ll also find spring wild plants and turn them into tempura. This is the kind of experience they’ll remember for life.
🌸⑧4/3(金) “Make a Decorated Bag with Tatakizome”
Kids can make a bag using “tatakizome,” a dyeing technique with spring plants and flowers. It’s a camp where school science and play come together perfectly.
Fees & Registration
Each session is 8,900 yen (repeat participants and those applying for 2 or more sessions get a 1,000 yen discount!)
General registration starts at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 23. It’s first-come, first-served!

Finally
Fire starting, knives, bows and arrows, river play, and camp cooking. These are all experiences that are hard to do at home. River play may be the classic choice, but boys might really want to try the bamboo bow and arrow. If you’ve been wondering how to give your child a new experience during spring break, this could be the perfect timing!
