Trash cans at ACTA Nishinomiya appear to be removed

It looks like the trash cans at ACTA Nishinomiya are going to be removed.

Starting April 1, the trash cans will no longer be available for use.

The same notice was posted in other areas too.

Removal Actually Started Last October

This is the station-side entrance on the 2nd floor of the East Building. It is no longer being used as a trash can.

After that, it was changed to a small type just for umbrella bags.

In January this year, the trash can next to “Chuo Hiroba” on the 2nd floor of the East Building was also removed.

With this, all the trash cans inside the building will be gone… The ones inside the restrooms might remain.

Finally

When we spoke with someone at ACTA Nishinomiya, they said they had no choice but to remove the trash cans because people kept dumping household garbage there. They explained that when outside trash is brought in, disposal costs go up, sorting takes extra time, and it affects cleaning operations. If it’s trash from a shop where you bought takeout, you can throw it away inside that shop, but anything else will probably need to be taken home.
