Over the past year, we’ve written articles on all kinds of topics around Nishinomiya. Among them, there were probably quite a few silly stories and bits of trivia that may not have been especially useful.
Since we have them, we thought we’d put together those trivia-style articles as “Nishinomiya Trivia” (that takes me back…).

Which high schools in Nishinomiya have played at Koshien?

It seems to have become more widely known recently that Koshien Stadium is in Nishinomiya, but in fact, many high schools from Nishinomiya have also appeared there.
We’ve put together an article covering everything from that famous high school everyone knows to a few schools that may come as a bit of a surprise.
We hope they’ll keep working hard to make it to Koshien again this year.

A roundup of singers from Nishinomiya who have appeared on Kohaku Uta Gassen

The year before last, four people from Nishinomiya, including Aimyon, appeared on Kohaku Uta Gassen.
So we decided to write this article.
You might find yourself thinking, “Wait, that person is from Nishinomiya too?!”

Various anime and tokusatsu songs connected to Nishinomiya

We wrote this article because we wanted to introduce people from Nishinomiya from our own perspective.
It covers a variety of anime songs involving composers, lyricists, and singers from Nishinomiya.
Some of the works may bring back memories for many readers.

We looked into whether Nishinomiya’s city emblem, a six-pointed star, has any connection to Judaism

I had never thought about it before, but now that it’s been pointed out, the city emblem certainly is a six-pointed star.
It seems to have even become something of an urban legend…
So we looked into the origins of the city emblem and related details.

Why does Nishinomiya City have so many community centers?

Nishinomiya City really does have a lot of community centers, doesn’t it?
There is actually a reason for that too.
Rather than just trivia, there is a proper background to it, so we introduce it in the article.

How far does National Route 171 go?

While writing an article, we happened to look into National Route 171 and found out that the road apparently continues all the way to Kobe.
But National Route 171 seems to disappear at the Fudabasuji intersection, doesn’t it?
So what’s going on?
