The Katahoko Bridge, currently under renovation, which spans the Shukugawa River, feels almost like an attraction～
From a distance, the bridge is covered in sheets, which is kind of thrilling.
Even when you get closer, you still can’t tell what’s going on inside, so it gives you that excited, heart-racing feeling.
If this were USJ, it’d be like Space Fantasy: The Ride.
If it were Disneyland, it’d feel like that moment before getting on Space Mountain.
Just look at this hollow space.
It gives you that irresistible urge to go inside. Even adults can’t help but feel excited.
As you walk through, this view opens up right in front of you ↑↑
Add to that the clanging sounds of construction echoing through the dim tunnel, the workers’ voices, the wind, and the smell of paint rushing through, and you can really get an atmosphere just like an attraction.

Katahoko Bridge is also known as the Rainbow Bridge, and it was built in Showa 40.
Will it be reborn all shiny and sparkling after the renovation?
Since it’s called the Rainbow Bridge, I’m quietly hoping it might end up in rainbow colors.
