Renovations at MaxValu Nishinomiya Hamacho Store
Looking at the flyer, we spotted the logos for “100-yen shop Can Do” and “old-fashioned dagashi candy shop”!!
Did new shops open inside MaxValu!? We went to take a look right away!
↓ Since we can’t show photos of the inside of the store… (Sorry for my extremely bad illustrations… 🙇)
The dagashi candy shop looks like this

The snack section has been renovated, and next to the area where small children can play, there’s a “Dagashi Candy Shop” sign!
It wasn’t a separate shop, but a dagashi corner〜😁
Still, the dagashi selection was really well stocked!
“Can Do” looks like this

And the 100-yen shop “Can Do” is set up in the same style as the MaxValu Nishinomiya Kitaguchi Store along Yamate Kansen, using part of the MaxValu store, with Can Do products lined up on both sides from in front of the registers to the middle aisle!
The selection included everyday items like kitchen disposables and cleaning supplies, storage goods, stationery, toys, and more!
It’s super convenient for those “Oh, I needed that too, might as well grab it while I’m here〜” moments 👍
In Closing
Separate shops didn’t actually open inside MaxValu, but both the Can Do section and the dagashi corner were pretty well stocked, so everyday shopping is likely to become much more convenient〜👌
Rinko, thank you for the information!!
