It was a showdown where the five studio guests decided which city was more appealing: “Nishinomiya” or “Amagasaki”~😀
Nishinomiya’s Pride Points

- Nishinomiya is stylish
- Amagasaki isn’t a rival
- It has Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens
- The Lucky Man race
When you think of Nishinomiya, it has to be Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens, right?
They introduced Japan’s first location of the French brand “Decathlon”, as well as Kansai’s first apple pie shop “Granny Smith”~

Amagasaki’s Pride Points
※Quoted from the official Amagasaki Castle website
- Amagasaki is more stylish
- There are lots of friendly older guys
- Prices are cheaper
- There’s a shopping street where Rokko Oroshi plays
- It has Kansai’s first Costco
- Amagasaki Castle
They said “a shopping street where Rokko Oroshi plays,” but the Hanshin Tigers’ home stadium is actually Koshien in Nishinomiya😂
The correct answer is b. Amagasaki.
No way~!!
By majority vote, Amagasaki won 3 to 2~😅
I was totally convinced Nishinomiya would win, so this was a shock.
In Closing
Apparently, Amagasaki Castle was built by the founder of Midori Denka using 1.2 billion yen of his own money, then donated to Amagasaki~!! Amazing~!! Maybe Shacho @ Nishitsu will build something huge to compete with it and donate it to Nishinomiya~
Amagasaki Castle looked like you could have quite a lot of fun there for the 500 yen admission fee.
Personally, I can’t stop thinking about how ridiculously cheap Takoyaki Oka in Amagasaki is, with 14 takoyaki for 200 yen~
