“Le Benaton” French Restaurant’s Backdoor Deli Assortment Near Shukugawa Station [Nishitsu Gourmet]

There’s a French restaurant called “Le Benaton” along the Yamate Kansen near Shukugawa Station.
They sell deli items and other goodies at the back entrance, so I went to take a look～

What’s amazing is that Le Benaton’s back-entrance sales are available 24 hours a day. At first I thought, “No way, that can’t be true.”
Even after the restaurant closes, you can buy deli items from it as an unmanned shop♪ Unmanned sales like this are possible because Nishinomiya is such a peaceful and safe city～

Tomato stew with beef belly and vegetables 700 yen / Spanish omelet 350 yen
Chicken tenderloin confit 400 yen / Lentil salad 300 yen

Don’t chicken tenderloins usually have a dry image?? This confit was so moist and tender that it was hard to believe it was tenderloin.
The chicken is well seasoned, and it definitely goes with alcohol. A drink might be essential

The lentil salad has a little vinegar? Maybe balsamic vinegar? I liked that slight tang😍

A smooth, refreshing omelet with an herby flavor.

It’s packed with chunky vegetables like potatoes, carrots, onions, and zucchini, and the beef is fall-apart tender～

You can tell as soon as you eat it that it’s been slowly simmered with care.

When I thought about being able to enjoy four kinds of deli dishes made by a French restaurant for 1,750 yen, it felt like an incredible deal～(^_^)

They sell all kinds of things, like cookies and pain au chocolat.

The deli items are inside the refrigerator, and you can open it freely and take what you want.

Apparently the deli items change depending on the day, and sometimes they even have cheesecake depending on the time😀

But there may not always be change, so be sure to bring coins with you.

When I went, the restaurant was open, so I asked a staff member to ring me up.

You can also pay with PayPay and other cashless options, so it’s reassuring even if you don’t have coins. It looked like auPAY and Rakuten Pay were available too～. For people who get home late or suddenly get hungry at night, having such a great unmanned shop is really helpful.
