Imazu Station is located in Nakatsu City, Oita Prefecture, and is used as a station on JR Kyushu’s Nippo Main Line. JR Kyushu’s Imazu Station opened in 1897 (Meiji 30). Nishinomiya City’s Imazu Station opened in 1926 (Taisho 15). It looks like Imazu Station in Oita Prefecture came first, by about 30 years.
