Here’s an update on the rebuilding work for “Super Maruhachi” in Tokiwa-cho!
From the layout map on the construction sign at the site, we found out how cars will flow and where the parking lot will be!

It looks like bicycle and motorcycle parking areas will be built along Route 171, and cars will enter from the one-way road on the north side, heading from west to east.
Since the planned building is listed as “3 stories above ground,” maybe the parking lot will be on the 2nd or 3rd floor🤔?
The previous parking lot, located a little ways away, apparently had space for just over 20 cars, but this time there will be space for 42 cars on the premises, about twice as many!
By the way, the old Maruhachi parking lot has become a coin-operated parking lot!

We’re gradually getting a clearer picture of what Maruhachi will look like after the rebuild!
Construction on the new building is scheduled from late September next year through June 2023, so completion is still quite a ways off（or maybe surprisingly soon🙄？）!
