The much-talked-about “Taiwan Castella” is now available as a carbonated drink!!
It seems it was released early at Lawson and Lawson Store 100 locations nationwide from August 30, and then sold in Cheerio vending machines from September 16. It’s also available at the official Cheerio online shop.
We tried Taiwan Castella Soda
The aroma spreads gently, and since the carbonation isn’t too strong, it feels like Taiwan castella turned straight into juice (｀・ω・´)
Because it uses caramel and the yellow food coloring tartrazine, it has a color similar to an energy drink.
