It looks like lots of great Nishinomiya spots (shops) will be featured on NHK’s “Ee Toko” airing Thursday, November 18.
This article is brought to you by Nishitsu supporter “Nishinomiya Kitaguchi Dental and Oral Surgery, open year-round.”
Here it is↓↓

- Recovery after the earthquake… the untold story of a Chinese restaurant
- The handiwork of a Japanese candle artisan
- A popular Western-style sweets recipe preserved by parent and child
- Sri Lankan curry in a mountain village
- A hidden hot spring and botan nabe
- And more…
So many Nishinomiya shops are going to be featured~~~!!
Since the shop names aren’t listed, it’s too bad we can’t let you know in advance which places will appear, but
the Japanese candle artisan must be from Japanese Candle Workshop “Matsumoto Shoten” in Imazu, right~
The Sri Lankan curry in a mountain village must be Little Lanka in Yamaguchi-cho, right~
I’m not sure about the Chinese restaurant, sweets shop, or botan nabe place, but there’s something oddly exciting about seeing shops you know featured on TV, isn’t there? 😀

I have a feeling that after watching this program, we’ll be reminded once again:
“Nishinomiya really is an ee toko, isn’t it~”
