I Tried the Iced Milk Tea at Smile Factory in Kotoen!

“Taiwan Tapioca Drinks & Sweets Smilefactory”, located about a 3-minute walk from Hankyu Kotoen Station✨

Smilefactory is a specialty shop for Taiwanese tapioca drinks and sweets😆

Of course you can get takeout, but there are also terrace seats outside and an indoor seating area in the back✨

The area is mostly residential, and many students pass by too, so it seems lots of neighborhood locals and students casually stop in☺️

So many options, it’s hard to choose what to drink!

And of course, they all come with tapioca✨

This time, we had the classic and most popular iced milk tea☺️

Iced Milk Tea (320 yen)

Since we were there, we decided to enjoy it slowly inside the shop✨

The tapioca pearls were about medium-sized, wonderfully chewy, sweet, and delicious❤️

The milk tea itself was neither too strong nor too light, with a clean sweetness that made it easy to drink😊🎵

Smilefactory is located about a 3-minute walk from Hankyu Kotoen Station.

They also seem to offer special services on the 3rd, 13th, and 23rd of each month, such as M-size drinks for 300 yen and coupons❗️
