Tried the Great-Value Lunch Course for Two or More at Original Sujikon Restaurant 笑

There’s a restaurant called “笑” in Shimoyamaguchi, Yamaguchi-cho, along Route 176.

The sign says “The Original Sujikon Shop”, and I’d been curious about it every time I passed by on Route 176～

The Food at “笑”

What we had at 笑 was a lunch course that came with

sujikon, pork and vegetable teppanyaki, okonomiyaki, yakisoba, dessert (ice cream), and a soft drink (^^♪

All that food for 1,115 yen per person (tax included)
※Available for orders of 2 or more people

Sujikon

This sujikon unusually had garlic in it, and it was nicely browned and looked so good～

Even without adding anything, it would make a great snack with drinks 😆

Ponzu came with it, so I tried dipping the sujikon in the ponzu.

So refreshing～
So light～

The ponzu goes incredibly well with it! It made me want a beer～

Pork and Vegetable Teppanyaki

The sweetness of the pork and the sweetness of the vegetables were great.
It was cooked just right, not overdone, and the vegetables still had that crisp texture. Impressive～

This might make you want a beer too～😀

Sometimes you just suddenly crave yakisoba, don’t you?

Kansai people start missing that sauce flavor 😛

The sauce clings nicely to the thin noodles～
There was more than enough for two people, so it felt really satisfying.

The mayonnaise comes in a Kewpie packet.
When okonomiyaki topped with sauce and aonori is sitting right in front of you, you can’t help wanting to write something with mayonnaise.

It was packed with finely chopped cabbage.

It was a little on the small side, but it was cooked up fluffy and was plenty filling～

For drinks, you can choose oolong tea or orange juice, and it even comes with ice cream for dessert. This lunch course felt like an amazing deal.

The whole counter is covered with an iron griddle, and I’d love to drink while watching them cook right in front of me 😀

The ducts and the hanging menus were all incredibly clean～

The duct above where we sat was sparkling too, and it reflected us clearly like a mirror.
