This neon sign could be called a symbol of Mondo-Yakujin Station.
Like Parnus-san, many people may be feeling lonely now that the Daido neon sign is gone.

I live nearby, and I really liked the somewhat retro feel of the vertical katakana neon sign for Daido, which would shine almost divinely at night.
It had been covered with protective netting, so I figured construction was underway, but when the netting came down and I realized that the entire neon sign was gone, I felt a little shocked.
I think the lights usually went off around 10:30, and if my child was still awake around the time it went dark, I’d say, “Daido has already gone out, so you shouldn’t still be awake!” We used it like a clock, too, so I feel very lonely now.
