Tobacco Jizo!? What is that??
A Jizo statue and a tobacco sign feel so mismatched 😂 It really makes an impression!
A Jizo statue in Koshien that even caught the attention of a folklore teacher… now that definitely makes you curious!!
We had to find it 🔥🔥🔥
So we went looking with full determination, and since we found it pretty quickly, we went to check it out〜🚲 lol
The Tobacco Jizo is located right near the north exit of Naruo-Mukogawajoshidai-mae Station, where Life supermarket is.
Under the sign for “西野たばこ店”… oh!!
There it is!!
It looks just like the tweet! It’s holding up a big tobacco sign〜😳
Well, the Jizo statue may not actually have anything to do with tobacco, though…🤔
It’s quietly standing under the eaves of the tobacco shop〜😊
Why was it placed here, we wonder? Such a mystery〜🔎
By the way, the Jizo statue is apparently called “Sendatsu Jizo Bosatsu”.
