The kotatsu was set up at Social Square Nishinomiya. They usually provide employment support services, but they apparently started putting out the kotatsu so people in the local community could feel a little more familiar with the place.

They put the kotatsu out irregularly, but it sounds like they’ll set it up if you contact them in advance.
There was also a free capsule toy machine called “Mugen Gacha.”
Apparently the contents change every month, and last month, in keeping with Setsubun, it was a capsule toy called “Bean Encyclopedia for Defeating Oni”👹

If you go this way, you’ll cross the Yamate Kansen road, and find places like dining kitchen kuro.
If you go in the opposite direction, you’ll find places like Yuge Roastery Main Store and Chuka Soba Botan.
Final Thoughts
It’s gradually getting warmer, but there are still plenty of chilly days.
They seem to put the kotatsu out irregularly, but if you make a casual reservation and say something like, “I’d like to sit in the kotatsu,” they’ll apparently set it up for you, so why not stop by?
