Last November, we reported that Gakubunden Park was unavailable due to renovation work, and now the construction is finished and the park has been reborn〜👏
(Thanks to Kaorun-san for the tip!)

The renewal of Gakubunden Park was also mentioned in last August’s city newsletter!
What Was Renovated

this playground equipment ↓

And ↓

The slide has become a full playground structure!!
This is great because kids can come up with all kinds of ways to play on it〜😊

The south entrance ↓

The hedges used to make it hard to see inside the park, but the roadside side has been changed to a fence, so now you can see clearly across the park!

There’s a fence at the entrance to stop balls and little kids from running out.
From a mom’s point of view, it feels really reassuring. Having this makes a huge difference〜🙌

There’s also some health-focused exercise equipment, which we’ve been seeing more often around the city lately.

A hand-pumped well that kids will probably fight over in summer!
※Apparently it’s for disaster preparedness😅

The train, the symbol of this park, is still there!
It’s been repainted and looks shiny and new〜✨

I’d never seen this kind of playground equipment before😳
A modern version of Dora●mon’s concrete pipes?
It’s the kind where the pipes bounce around lol
I wanted to try going inside, but it was so popular that it never opened up😂

Even from the entrance on the Hongo Gakubun-suji side, it’s changed quite a lot!
Here’s the map ↓
The address is 2-4-24 Gakubunden-cho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
Finally
A lot of parks have been getting renovated lately, and when parks become nicer, it feels like the whole town is getting nicer too, which is great♪
With lots of playground equipment, it’s become the kind of park you’ll want to visit even if it’s a little far away♪
Kaorun-san, thank you very much for the tip!!
