Personally, Hanshin Park was right in the middle of my generation, so I have so many memories of it. I can’t help wondering what it would be like if it came back〜??

The quality and value of that curry were amazing. Each plate was made so carefully that I wondered if the owner could really make a profit doing it. It’s such a shame that it moved to Tosabori and became harder to get to.

It was a beautiful, easy-to-watch stadium with a charm different from Koshien. If there had been no bicycle racing and it had been attached to Nishinomiya Gardens, it should have become even more beloved than it was in actual history.

I loved the takoyaki from this shop! I liked gently peeling apart and eating the soft takoyaki that had been squashed between two Styrofoam trays. These are memories from up through the 1980s!

It was a very affordable and delicious Italian restaurant, and the matcha panna cotta for dessert was so good it was unreal. Even though it was called matcha, it didn’t really taste like matcha.

Every single thing on the menu was delicious! I went there with my family from childhood, and after I got married, I went there with my husband too. It suddenly closed, and I was so, so shocked… I still can’t forget the taste of that place.

Nishimura Coffee, which used to be near Koshien Station
As a cafe, it was a very comfortable place. The food and coffee were delicious, the manager’s service and hospitality were polite, and it was a place where you could slowly spend a happy moment. Other cafes can’t easily recreate that wonderful atmosphere. I really hope it comes back to Koshien someday.

Daiei Koshien
Times may be different now, but when it opened, I was amazed that you could finish almost all your shopping without taking the train! (aside from groceries). In the past, it had some of the highest sales in Japan. Even though it was near Koshien Stadium, I also secretly liked how the Daiei Hawks’ song from back then would play loudly inside the store, haha.
