We couldn’t see clearly inside, but there was new lumber stacked up, so it feels like the interior might turn out quite nice too!
Next door is Kappa Sushi. Even if you find yourself thinking, “Marugame is closedddd 😭,” at least there’s a place next door, so that’s a bit reassuring, maybe.

They say the renovation is being done “so customers can use the restaurant more comfortably,” so we’re looking forward to the reopening. It’ll be closed for about another three weeks, so please let people around you know so they don’t go there by mistake. The renovation reopening is on August 9 (Tue).
