On Friday evening, my child and I headed to my parents’ place for the first time in a while♪
Since we had the chance, Grandpa invited us out, and three generationsof the family decided to go have dinner together~!😄

The three of us strolled from Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Station toward Gardens〜♪ Gardens is only 3 minutes from the station, so it’s really easy to visit with kids~!

We arrived on the 4th floor of Gardens! It was so pretty that we couldn’t help stopping by the Sky Garden♪ Lights + fountains = one very excited child~!!

So today, we’re going to enjoy a relaxed dinner at “広東料理 水蓮月”〜♪

The two of them stared very seriously at the menu…
Many dishes come in sizes “small” and “medium”, so you can choose based on the number of people~😊(Small: about 2–3 servings, medium: about 4–5 servings).

Dishes at “水蓮月”
📢Somewhere among the dishes we’re introducing is the “I saw it on Nishitsu” special perk~📢
Which dish do you think comes with the “I saw it on Nishitsu” perk~??
First, these are the three dishes we ordered♪

Squid Tempura (Small) 2,299 yen(tax included)
Minced Meat Lettuce Wraps (Small) 2,662 yen(tax included)
Shrimp with Mayonnaise Sauce (Small) 2,178 yen(tax included)

“Squid Tempura” is one of 水蓮月’s signature dishes! Apparently they fry fresh squid that’s good enough to be eaten as sashimi~!

So much umami! I couldn’t stop eating~~~
I almost want to tell everyone I meet from tomorrow onward😂

For the “Minced Meat Lettuce Wraps”, you mix fragrant minced Yamato pork with fried glass noodles, then wrap it all in round-cut lettuce.

The restaurant staff kindly show you how to wrap it~. And then, look at this! We wrapped it so neatly and compactly~!(Look! Grandpa’s proud face!)

The “Shrimp Mayonnaise” features fresh, springy shrimp coated generously in a thick, slightly sweet mayonnaise sauce~!

At this point, we checked in with our stomachs and decided it was time to order more✨!
Shrimp with Chili Sauce (Small) 2,178 yen(tax included)
Gomoku Fried Rice 1,573 yen(tax included)
After lots and lots of debating, we ordered these two dishes🎉

“Shrimp with Chili Sauce.” We were so impressed by the shrimp mayo earlier that we went back for more shrimp♪
It arrived with gorgeous shrimp packed tightly on top of crispy fried glass noodles~!The sauce brings a slow-building heat, and at the end you’ll want to mix it with the fried glass noodles and eat it all up~!

The “Gomoku Fried Rice” looks colorful, and the texture is so perfectly fluffy and separated that you’ll want to shout, “Of course it is!” And this one also has lots of shrimp🦐 No matter how many times we served it out, more shrimp kept appearing~🦐.
There was enough fried rice to serve onto all three of our plates, with enough left for another helping.
To finish, we had the popular dessert “sesame dumplings” and 水蓮月’s special blended tea~😋 Inside the sesame dumplings is rich sesame paste~!
The blended tea is apparently a mix of jasmine tea and pu-erh tea. It has a refreshing taste that cleanses the palate ![]()
Thanks to the food that satisfied both kids and adults, and the relaxed atmosphere inside, it was a lovely restaurant where we could enjoy a calm meal😚
Now then, there was a “I saw it on Nishitsu” special perk hidden among the dishes. Did you notice which dish it was~???
This is an exclusive perk for Nishitsu readers!
