About Naoki Sanada (真田ナオキ)
Naoki Sanada’s mentor is Ikuzo Yoshi, and he won the Best New Artist Award at the 62nd Japan Record Awards. He’s apparently known as a prince of the enka world, and while he has a fresh, clean-cut look, his voice is incredibly distinctive. When Naoki Sanada first met Ikuzo Yoshi at a dinner gathering, he apparently sang there, and Ikuzo Yoshi, a bit carried away after drinking, told him, “You’ve got an interesting voice. Become my apprentice,” which is how he ended up becoming his disciple.
