On April 27, Peach Club at Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens moved just a little, expanded, and reopened, so we went to take a look!
The number of character plushies covering the entire wall is amazing!

It’s on the 3rd floor of Gardens. It feels like it moved just a bit from where it used to be.
“The Super Mario Bros. Movie” started showing at TOHO Cinemas in Gardens on April 28, so the Mario goods might sell out fast.

These are called “nano tape balloons,” and they’re adhesive gel double-sided tape that’s super popular on social media right now.
Apparently they’re selling like crazy and are pretty hard to get.
Since this was for the store’s renewal, they somehow managed to get some in stock. It might already be sold out by the time this article is published m(__)m
Peach Club sells a ton of stationery goods. If you’re from the Showa generation, picture one of those neighborhood stationery shops where all the elementary school kids would flock to buy kneaded erasers.
I had the impression that Peach Club carried a lot of bold, primary-colored items, but at Gardens, there are many pastel-colored items. When we asked why, we heard that kids in Nishinomiya are a little more grown-up. Regional differences really do show up, don’t they?
Elementary school kids these days even wear earrings (clip-ons, of course). These are around 600 yen each, so they’re pretty affordable.
They also sell travel bags that would be handy for school trips and the like.
Umbrellas, a must-have for the coming season. These ones are for elementary school kids.
They also have umbrellas with more grown-up designs. There probably aren’t many stores with this many different kinds.

It’s called Rainbow Friends, and apparently it’s a hugely popular horror game featuring all kinds of monsters. They really keep up with the trends.
Of course, they also have classics like Totoro and Sumikko Gurashi. Miffy was newly added with this renewal.
They also have PAW Patrol, which airs on TV Tokyo,
and Moomin was newly added to the sales floor with the renewal too. Fans will be happy.
Of course, they also sell Sanrio characters like Hello Kitty, My Melody, Hangyodon, and other nostalgic favorites!
