Since it’s a thanks festival, there’ll be free coffee and even mochi being served
Yuge Roastery is celebrating its 10th anniversary. As a way to show their appreciation, they wanted to do something fun.
They’ll be holding a celebratory festival together with shops around Hazukacho, where Yuge Roastery is located.
Free coffee and free food all day (Yuge Roastery)
At Yuge Roastery, everyone who comes gets free coffee!

They’ll also be giving out sweets for free. *Of course, only while supplies last～
Mochi-pounding event (Chamber of Commerce and Industry)
Mochi pounding is usually a New Year’s thing, but since this is a celebration, they’re doing it!
Time: Around 10:00–13:00
They’ll also have small mallets for children～. Why not let your kids try it out!

They’re also planning to set up tables in front of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and serve small coffee tastings～☕️
There’ll also be balloon art and boccia, it seems. Apparently run by the community facility “Furebono”
Grill mochi over a shichirin and play table tennis (SOCIALSQUARE)
At SOCIALSQUARE diagonally across the street, you’ll be able to grill various foods and freshly pounded mochi over a shichirin charcoal grill.

This bench where you can take a little break is apparently wooden furniture designed and made by “hitotoki,” a unit of architectural staff from Nishinomiya City Hall. Amazing!! The time is around 13:00–17:00.
Also, the flower shop RICCA will be selling cut flowers from 300 yen each as celebratory flowers～. It looks like they can also make bouquets
Food stalls will be set up (FamilyMart)
The FamilyMart across the street will apparently be doing some kind of special food stall operation.
You’ll have to wait until the day to see what they’ll have～.
Please note there’s nowhere to park bicycles
This is a festival in Hazukacho, but there won’t be any space to park bicycles, so they’re asking people to come on foot.
Lastly
Yuge Roastery has had various connections with Nishitsu, including offering reader giveaways and opening a location in Shukugawa near the Nishitsu office～. With mochi pounding, free coffee, and more, it sounds like it’s going to be a fun festival. Nishinomiya’s coffee group “COFFEE GATE” will also be handing out free drip bags, so why not stop by? Shachomi might go too～
