A strange plant near Mukogawadanchimae Station that looks like one flower but has tons of flowers blooming inside

You know those strange things that look like flowers, but have tons of tiny flowers blooming inside them?

It’s like a flower made of flowers, right? I personally called it a mystery flower. But don’t you actually see these in all kinds of places more often than you’d expect?

Its name is lantana. It’s smaller than your thumb. Apparently, its colors change one after another from the inside out. A tiny bit creepy.

This flower apparently releases substances that drive out other plants. It seems to release something called allelopathic substances from its roots. Eren Yeager would be absolutely furious

And that’s how it keeps expanding its territory. On top of that, its seeds and leaves seem to contain fairly strong toxins, and overseas there have even been cases of sheep eating it and dying.

In fact, it apparently has a hidden side: it was listed by the Ministry of the Environment on the “List of Alien Species Requiring Attention That May Become a Problem in the Future”.
