It looks like the “Summer Vacation Anime Song Orchestra Concert” will be held at Hyogo Performing Arts Center on the public holiday Friday, August 11.

It seems like a rare chance to hear songs from Ghibli, Pokémon, and more performed by an orchestra.
The songs you can hear include
My Neighbor Totoro, Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea, Aim to Be a Pokémon Master, Galaxy Express 999, and more
Here it is on the map ↓
The address is 2-22 Takamatsucho, Nishinomiya, Hyogo.

When you think of Ghibli, you probably think of Azumi Inoue. She sings the following songs:
- My Neighbor Totoro: “Sanpo,” “Tonari no Totoro,” “Okaasan,” “Maigo”
- Castle in the Sky: “Kimi wo Nosete”
You have definitely heard these before.

Yuyu. You may not have heard of her, but she’s the girl who sang “Nausicaa Requiem” at age 5 on Azumi Inoue’s album “Ghibli Meikyoku Selection.”
You know, the “Ran ran rara♪” one.

Rica Matsumoto, the voice actor who played Ash in the 1997 Pokémon anime, will also be there.

Finally
“Arukou♪ arukou♪ watashi wa genki♪,” “Tonari no Totoro, Totoro♪,” “Ano chiheisen♪”… doesn’t that sound like the kind of thing that could bring tears to your eyes? The Osaka Symphony Orchestra will be performing these Ghibli and Pokémon songs, and personally, I really want to go.
