2年前の『阪神パーク』の思い出にご協力いただいた読者さんへ

Two years ago, Nishitsu published an article titled “Do you have memories of Hanshin Park? [Nishinomiya Archive]”.

And this time, we’ve written a new one: “Do you have memories of the Koshien area, Koshien Stadium, and Hanshin Park?”!

We have a request for all the Nishitsu readers who previously sent us photos and stories about Hanshin Park.

I don’t remember it myself, but when my father, who loved taking photos, got married, he organized old pictures into an album. In it, there’s a handwritten note that says Hanshin Park pasted alongside this photo. If you look closely, the sign says “Leopon.”

This is something I heard from my older sister… Long ago, at a festival, she scooped up a chick, brought it home, and kept it as a pet. It grew quickly and became a chicken. One day, when she came home, the chicken was gone. When she asked our mother about it, she replied, “I took it to Hanshin Park.” I had always assumed that since we couldn’t keep it anymore, she had asked the park to take care of it. But when I was an adult, she confessed, “Actually, I had them feed it to the lions.”

I also used to go to Hanshin Park when I was little. There was a pool called Deluxe Pool, and I remember jumping again and again in the wave pool there. We hope you’ll be able to find some treasured photos of Hanshin Park.
