In a YouTube video uploaded by the comedy duo Nakagawake, a manzai routine included some very Nishinomiya “relatable local moments.”
(This tip came from Kyanako. Thank you!)
Here it is↓
It’s a manzai video called “Osaka Real Estate Agent,” and during the exchange between a man looking for a rental property in Namba and a real estate agent, the local jokes that come up are so relatable!
The “Nishinomiya relatable moments” that came up in the manzai
Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi relatable moments

Real estate agent: “This area is nice, Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi. It’s ranked No. 1 among towns people want to live in.”

“Then they built this place called Nishinomiya Gardens. You go straight out from Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi, but it’s at this awkward distance.”

“And you walk through this passageway thing. There’s something like a moving walkway, right? But it’s really short.”

True enough〜〜〜 Now that you mention it, it is short〜 lol
Shukugawa and Kurakuenguchi relatable moments

Real estate agent: “There’s Shukugawa, Kurakuenguchi, Koyoen and so on. This area is upscale, so honestly, it’s a bit pricey. Even the dogs people walk are different. Everyone’s walking these fancy little dogs. They’re all those clackety-clack dogs.”
Clackety-clack dogs…? 😂
Apparently, the “clackety-clack dogs” Nakagawake are talking about are “those hanging dog toys you see at festival stalls.”
Something like this…?↓
Ahhh〜〜〜 I totally get it!!Are they “clackety-clack dogs” because the wheels go clackety-clack? lol
You do get the image of people walking stylish, elegant little dogs 🐩around there, don’t you? ✨
Finally
In the manzai, besides Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi, Shukugawa, and Kurakuenguchi, they also went all-in with relatable jokes about nearby Ashiya, Amagasaki, and stations in Osaka, and it was really hilarious〜! If you’re curious, you might want to check it out.
※Kyanako, thank you for the tip!!
