For Nishinomiya City’s 3rd PayPay campaign, it looks like you’ll be able to use 5 types of cashless payment methods.
Here↓

Previously it was PayPay only, but this time the following five ○○Pay services are eligible.

- PayPay
- auPAY
- d払い
- 楽天Pay
- 楽天edy
For each payment type, you can get up to 5,000 yen back in points. Here are the maximum examples.
- PayPay: Pay 25,000 yen and get 5,000 yen back
- auPAY: Pay 25,000 yen and get 5,000 yen back
- d払い: Pay 25,000 yen and get 5,000 yen back
- 楽天Pay: Pay 25,000 yen and get 5,000 yen back
- 楽天edy: Pay 25,000 yen and get 5,000 yen back
So if you want to receive the maximum 25,000 yen worth of cashback, you’ll need to use all five cashless payment services.
You can set them all up for free on your smartphone.
Can you use auPAY or d払い even if you’re not a member?
There are services like auPAY and d払い, but you can use them for free even if you’re not subscribed to those mobile carriers.
Here are the links to each official site.
Eligible stores are those that have introduced these payment methods
Eligible stores are small and medium-sized businesses and privately run shops in the city that have introduced one of the five cashless payment methods listed above. This includes restaurants, retail stores, service businesses, and more.
However, large companies and their franchise chain stores are not eligible. Please keep that in mind.
Final Thoughts
Getting up to 25,000 yen back across all five services feels like a pretty decent amount. It looks like a website where you can search eligible stores will be launched in mid-September, so we’ll write another article once we find out more.
