The 6th installment of “Summer Festival Memories” is about the “Mukogawa Bon Odori,” which is in Amagasaki, but plenty of people from Nishinomiya go too.
This year, it was held from August 25 to 27. “Summer Festival Memories” is a 7-day consecutive series featuring reports by Kagayaki Issue 509, a Nishitsu supporter.

In addition to Bon Odori songs, it seems they also played popular tunes like Beautiful Sunday, Rokko Oroshi, DA PUMP’s U.S.A., and Paprika, so the place was really lively.
Here it is on the map↓
The address is 4-26-5 Mukogawacho, Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture.

As you can see, the scale of the food and game stalls seemed to be among the biggest around. Once the new Hankyu station on the Mukogawa Line is built, will even more people start coming?

Maybe because of the pop songs and other non-Bon Odori tracks, it felt like everyone was really coming together and having a great time.
One difference from Nishinomiya was that the dance order for the Arale-chan Ondo was reversed, and Kiyoshi no Zundoko Bushi was done with a hand-dance style.
It might be a fun chance to see Amagasaki and Nishinomiya mixing together and getting excited over Rokko Oroshi.
That wraps up our report on the Mukogawa Bon Odori. There’s only one more day left in our Summer Festival Memories series. Which Nishinomiya summer festival will appear tomorrow? Let’s soak in those memories again.
