Starting Thursday, October 5, it looks like they will gradually replace plastic shopping bags with paper bags.
Since this applies to Aeon and Aeon Style stores nationwide, in Nishinomiya City that likely means the two locations: Aeon Nishinomiya and Aeon Style at Corowa Koshien.
The plastic shopping bags that used to cost 3 or 5 yen will be discontinued and replaced with paper bags priced at 20 and 30 yen. It might be better to bring your own bag.

This change applies to sections such as clothing and daily goods, but for people who often buy the 3-yen bags, the price will jump by more than six times. Forgetting your reusable bag could end up costing a bit, so take note.
