Miyakko Ramen, which also took first place for ramen, came out on top here too! Since they even have a ramen set menu called the “Miyakko Set,” maybe a lot of people felt it pairs especially well. The fried rice is called Miyakko Chahan too, so it has that local fried rice vibe.

I usually order the Miyakko Set. The fried rice goes perfectly with Miyakko Ramen’s soy sauce tonkotsu soup. Since the noodle dishes are on the rich side, the fried rice is simple! It’s based on salt and pepper, with bean sprouts adding a nice accent. It has this plainness that somehow makes you completely hooked. I’ve been there more than 80 times, and I never get tired of it. I want them to teach me the recipe!
