Southern Maid Donuts is a popular donut shop that started in Texas, USA, and has over 80 years of history, with 110 locations across the United States. Their donuts are made without eggs and using oil with 99.2% less trans fat. Each donut is handmade and known for its light texture, and apparently they’re now creating buzz at pop-up stores in Tokyo.
They also sold donuts here on 6/17, and apparently sold out in 1 hour and 20 minutes after opening. This time, they’ve moved the opening time up from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., so if you want some, it might be best to go soon after they open. Americans really seem to love donuts, and since this place has so many shops across the U.S., it’s probably a sure bet.
