On Saturday, October 7, Shachobi from Nishitsu went to the “Nishinomiya Sakagura Renaissance and Food Fair” held at Nishinomiya Shrine.

This was the scene in front of the Akamon Gate at 3:30 p.m. It was all red, red, and more red!

So, let’s head inside~~.

Look, look, it was already packed with people over there. And this was at 3:30 p.m., which is on the later side.

This is the booth for the Nishinomiya Chamber of Commerce and Industry. They had so much energy.

It said “for beer-only people,” so~

Well, of course you have to buy one, right? That was the vibe. They really knew how to get everyone in the mood, and we got a full display of the underlying strength of the Nishinomiya Chamber of Commerce and Industry at Nishinomiya Shrine, the shrine of business prosperity~

The people at the food truck for a new craft beer shop opening in Nishinomiya were also totally into it~~~~

I learned that a lot of the beer folks are really high-energy!

Look at this~. These fiery beef skewers.

They have a shop right in front of Nishinomiya Shrine, and they were set up here too! It’s “Kacchan Shokudo”~!

We even got treated to beef skewers by Ozeki president Osabe~. This wildly fun atmosphere is what makes the Sakagura Renaissance so great~~~

By this time, it was already sold out~. I’m really curious about “Madame Oden,” but I guess everyone else was curious too and bought it all up.

They were selling fried chicken and yakitori from Japan Food Service, the place Nishitsu wrote about for its vending machine along Route 171~.

Koshien Hero-age was there too, and they even had Taiwanese fried bread.

Of course, Dashi no Mise Tsumiki’s dashimaki omelet was drawing tons of customers too~.

The line for Imhouse Cafe looked like this~.

These pork skewers were being sold there. They looked spicy, but they weren’t that spicy, and they were so tender~~~~~

Bomaye’s curry was also for sale~. Such a vibe! And the dashi flavor really came through, which was great~~~

Oh, I found this on a nearby tree~.
May we have good connections~~

On this day, we really had so many wonderful connections with Nishitsu readers. We were livestreaming, and we got so many words of support~. Thank you~~~~!
Here’s the livestream showing just how lively it was~. The craft beer was delicious too~.

Of course, the sake breweries were incredibly lively too~.

People were drinking and drinking~~~~.

They even had tasting sets like this~. Though those blue glasses didn’t look disposable
There were even people who drank and ended up passing out. Maybe that’s just part of everyday life at the Sakagura Renaissance~.

There were also people who brought their dogs, like this~.

How was this year’s Nishinomiya Sakagura Renaissance? A festival where so many local shops gather all at once really is fun, isn’t it~. For those who couldn’t make it this year, hopefully you’ll be able to go next year~.
