Various breads we bought at “Oriental Bakery Hanshin Shop”
These are the breads we bought this time.
The freshly baked breads are put in paper bags so the steam doesn’t ruin their texture〜😉
We opened them up!
Freshly Baked 100% Fermented Butter Croissants 5 pieces 301 yen（tax included）
The first in-store baked item is the “croissant”🥐
There are 5 cute smaller-sized croissants in the bag♪
The surface is crisp, and it’s super flaky. That bite when you sink your teeth in is irresistible〜〜😍

Since it’s not too sweet, it might be great as part of a meal too😉
Freshly Baked Blend Butter Pain au Chocolat 5 pieces 301 yen（tax included）
The second freshly baked item is this bread with a really nice golden-brown color.
From inside the crispy layers comes the aroma of slightly bitter chocolate🍫 gently wafting out〜〜〜
There’s also moist chocolate inside. The sweetness of the dough and the bitterness of the chocolate are nicely balanced👌
This is the kind you can’t stop eating once you start〜〜😆
Freshly Baked Awaji Island Onion Baked Curry Bread 190 yen（tax included）
This is the “baked curry bread”🍛 that Nishitsu reader “Kinniku-kun” also recommends.
This is also baked in-store〜.
Inside the crunchy dough is curry with just the right amount of spice. You can also taste the umami of the onion〜🤗
Since it’s baked in an oven instead of fried in oil, it’s not greasy and feels healthier✨
Too-Delicious Wiener Bread 145 yen（tax included）
This is the classic meal-style bread, a “wiener dog”〜.
The sausage used here is “Schau Essen”〜
The whole-grain mustard is doing great work here〜〜😋Personally, I love when it has this much kick!
This is one item recommended for mustard lovers👍
They also have paper bags with these cute illustrations (30 yen). They’d be great for gifts or bringing something when visiting someone〜.

Here’s what the shop looks like inside. From sliced bread to sweet buns, savory breads, sandwiches, and baked sweets, they have a huge variety〜〜.
The prices are reasonable too, so you’ll end up wanting to buy a lot〜〜😆
The in-store freshly baked breads are in the center area. They also had assorted sets for sale〜. The kind of thing that would make you a hero if you brought it as a souvenir
They can also make party sandwiches〜. You need to reserve by 4:00 p.m. four days in advance〜
Believe it or not, Oriental Bakery’s bread has the No.1 share among commercial bakeries for hotels and cafes in Kansai!
They supply bread to all kinds of places, including hospitals, welfare facilities, schools, nursery schools, company shops, and cafes〜. I sometimes see their trucks🚚 driving around〜
