I picked up some unusual sweets from “24 Sweets shop,” an unmanned sweets shop that just opened yesterday, October 21.
Since you can buy over 70 kinds of trending sweets there 24 hours a day, we at Nishitsu will introduce three of them!
Here’s the location on the map↓
The address is 2-15 Kawarabayashicho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
Three unusual sweets we bought at “24 Sweets shop”

Ta-da!

These are milk tea and strawberry onigiri. Huh? Onigiri??

It looks exactly like convenience store onigiri! You can thaw it in the fridge for 2 hours before eating

Even the way you open it is the same! Is the inside really a sweet??

Seaweed?! What is going on with this appearance? But it was moist.

The realism is amazing. Apparently, this is black cocoa crepe. So realistic it almost hits the uncanny valley
So, let’s take a look at the strawberry one.

This is super strawberry! Sweet and tart. The “seaweed” part tasted more like crepe than cocoa, and as a sweet, it was really well put together.

It also had these little cube-shaped jellies inside.

This one is milk tea. Can you tell by looking? The black bits are tea leaves, and it has a strong black tea flavor. It also had warabimochi in it. I want to eat this again.

You don’t usually see a bear-shaped drink, right?

Kudamono Damono

Three minutes in the microwave. The frozen juice turns into a nicely crunchy, icy texture when you shake it.

Look at this. Big chunks of pineapple, because it’s Kudamono Damono!!!

A shortcake can with strawberry and kiwi that looks amazing in cross-section. I thawed it at room temperature for 30 minutes

And yes, it has a proper pull tab.

You pop it open just like a canned drink.

But since it’s cake, you use a fork to eat it. It feels like eating a parfait.

The strawberry was still a little frozen, giving it a crisp, icy texture. The sweetness felt fairly mild.

Since it was half-thawed, the whipped cream had a slightly crumbly texture. This was a totally new sensation, and I really want you to try it!!!! It’s fun how it gradually becomes more cake-like over time.
