Toki no Tabibito @ Nishitsu Supporter went to check out the Hankyu Bus Group “Customer Appreciation Day 2023” at the large parking lot just east of Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens.

It was held in the open area next to the Meishin Expressway near Gardens.
Here it is on the map↓
The address is 14-83 Takamatsucho, Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture.

This is what the entrance looked like.

This looks like an electric bus. It’s made by China’s BYD, and apparently it’s really quiet.

This is the bus that goes to Itami Airport. It’s a hybrid.

An electric bus, the kind you’ve been seeing more often around Nishinomiya lately.

The Sakura Yamanami Bus is operated by Hankyu Bus. It does say Hankyu Bus on it, after all

There weren’t just buses on display. Hankyu Taxi vehicles were there too. This seems to be Toyota’s next-generation universal design taxi, the “JPN TAXI,” which apparently has excellent fuel efficiency thanks to its hybrid engine using LP gas and an electric motor.

There was also a bus diorama. It was a little on the large side and looked quite realistic.
Finally
Displays of the latest buses, including electric buses and new hybrids, are pretty interesting. Regular buses usually make that loud vroooom sound, but apparently electric buses are quiet. Things have really come a long way.
*Toki no Tabibito @ Nishitsu Supporter, thank you for the tip!!
